International Structural Waterproofing Conference #ISWC23

The PCA International Structural Waterproofing Conference held on 20 July 2023 brought together professionals from all walks of the structural waterproofing industry.  Held at the University of Warwick, The Slate, the event attracted both manufacturing exhibitors and visitors.

The aim of the PCA International Structural Waterproofing Conference is to create a better quality in the built environment with industry updates, ideas, inspiration, and innovative solutions.

Delta Membrane Systems Limited were thrilled to exhibit and attend.

Delta’s Technical Team were delighted to catch up with so many old friends and showcase our new suite of brochures and exhibition stand.  The networking opportunities were plentiful with insights shared and the connections made.  As always, the Conference has a positive impact on the industry we love and serve.

The International Structure Waterproofing Conference programme was an outstanding line-up of expert speakers.

The first session focused on industry updates, covering topics such as the Building Safety Act and its impact on the waterproofing sector and updated Warranty Provider Technical Manuals.

With subsequent sessions focused on Best Practice covering Leak Detection and Specification approaches. Along with risk mitigation, legal, technical, and planning requirements of temporary works and innovative products and their application.

We were overjoyed to see Paul Swaddle from The NBS, use Delta’s profile as an example for producing specifications using the NBS Chorus platform, simplifying the specification process and developing the golden thread.

The International Structural Waterproofing Conference concluded with an expert panel debate which enabled the audience to connect and engage with industry leaders and fellow professionals which was a great opportunity to knowledge exchange.
