Delta Roof Guard Metal Primer/Activator
A single component polyurethane resin primer for improving the adhesion of Delta Roof Guard Primers, CP and QC systems to various substrates such as metal, single ply PVC, EDPM and GRP surfaces.
In most recent circumstances, polyurethane resins, thanks to their chemical cross linking (as opposed to their physical curing water based products), provide excellent adhesion to substrates. However, the very high water cohesion of these polymers may contribute to a lack of adhesion and eventual failure on difficult substrates, such as metals or nonporous ceramics. Some supports tend to offer more resistance to adhesion than others:
